Much going on...

So it's been a while since I added to my blog. I don't like seeing big gaps in time appearing on my website, because ironically the more gaps means the more work I am generally doing and therefore the less time to update my website.

Currently I have just taken on the participation role in addition to my exhibitions role at Bridport Arts Centre. I am absolutely loving it so far and there is so much to get stuck into. Two big things coming up which have been dominating my think-box at the moment are: THE Tom Hammick show and THE BIG DRAW. And yes I have to say THE Tom Hammick show as it's most definitely the biggest and most exciting show (in my humble opinion) we have had in The Allsop since I started. Secluded figures set amidst dream-like landscapes, seductive colours and velvety surfaces.  There isn't much I don't like about these pieces, apart from the fact that we now have the terrifying task of curating the exhibition ..stayed tuned for how we get on..or better yet come and see it at Bridport Arts Centre from Sat 20 June - Sat 25 July.

And...THE BIG DRAW. I have been longing to do a drawing event for The Big Draw since I heard about it. We have The Allsop for 2 whole weeks from 6 October - 18 October. The theme for this Year's BIG DRAW is Every Drawing Tells A Story, which is perfect as it also coincides with our Open Book week too! More info about how to get involved coming soon...

As far as exhibitions go nothing is planned in terms of my own work, but there's lots in the pipeline and I will put it up first here, or on my twitter as soon as things start to become confirmed.
